Min Joo joined the Abingworth's Menlo Park office in December 2025 and will work with our transatlantic team to identify new investment opportunities and support existing investments through to exit
Prior to joining Abingworth, Min Joo completed her PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Her scientific background centres on neuroimmunology and lipid biology, with a particular focus on microglial lipid dysfunction in genetically driven Alzheimer’s disease. During her doctoral training, she gained therapeutics venture experience as a fellow at Novo Holdings and Insight Partners and served as a business development consultant for Mirum Pharmaceuticals.
Min Joo holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from UCSF, an MS in Prevention Medicine from Stanford University, and a BA in Molecular Biology from Pomona College.
