Emma is General Counsel at Abingworth and works closely with the investment team, advising on investments, divestments and other strategic transactions. Emma also assists with the fund formation and governance functions for the Abingworth venture and clinical co-development funds.
Prior to joining Abingworth, Emma was Associate General Counsel at OPTrust in London, where she was a member of the Private Markets Group. Prior to OPTrust, Emma was a member of the corporate team at Covington & Burling LLP in London and a member of the corporate transactions group at A&L Goodbody in Dublin.
Emma received her BCL from University College Dublin and her LLM from Trinity College Dublin. She is admitted as a solicitor in Ireland, England & Wales, and as an attorney in New York.
