At JPMorgan he focused on the healthcare sector and helped raise capital for companies such as Manor Care, HealthSouth, and Patheon. Reed has a BA in Economics and BA in Biology from Northwestern University. At Abingworth, Reed concentrates on industry research and financial analytical support for venture and growth equity investments, which include expansion financings, build-ups and growth buyouts.
